Whimsical Mushroom Fairy House Build your own mushroom fairy house out of paper mache, balloons, flowers, paint and more. We will add many little touches to it so your fairy friends will have a cute place to live. Perhaps, Tinkerbelle will even want to live there! Fish are our Friends Yes, if you love those little swimming friends, this is your class. We will make out of clay: castles, bridges and more, to put in your tank. We will also make our own fish plaque out of clay, as well as create a cute fish bowl and finally we will fill it with a couple of real live little fish. Mid Winter Camp

Art & Crafts Sat.Feb. 28 or Aug. 29, 6-9 Just what the title says we will make a variety of crafts to take home that night, from decoupage, mosaic and make a cool box to beading key chains and necklaces. The ping-pong table will be up and ready for play, as well as a fun movie. $20

Dog & Cat Party Sat. Mar. 14, 6-9 to celebrate our new addition to the studio, Georgie the dog will join us for our dog and cat party! We will paint mini cat and dog ceramic figures, make dog biscuits and decorate a dog or cat dish. We will also make a winter hat for your own animal and watch Lady and the Tramp. $19.50

Bunny Houses .Sat. March 21, 6-9 Who doesn’t love bunnies? We will all get several small fabric bunnies, which we will make clothes for, a two story house that will be painted and decorated, as well as some furniture made for it. $19

Penguin Sat. April 18, 6-9 Club Penguin rocks! We are going to paint a large penguin bank, make group igloos and a very cute sock penguin. Of course, we will show Happy Feet and serve ice cream! $20

Fairy Sat. May 2, 6-9 enter fairyland with us, by painting the large fairy, find fairy eggs make wreaths and fairy wands. The movie Pixie Hollow will be shown as well. We will make and eat pink fairy ice-cream cupcakes and fairy princess marshmallow pops. $20

Webkinz Sat. May 30, 6-9 We will paint a set of chairs, dresser and table for our animals, play webkinz bingo and create a foldable room to set up at home! $19

Beginning Machine Sewing, So for the holidays you received a beautiful sewing machine and now you want to learn how to use it. Japanese Softies, A new twist on the stuffed animal, we will follow patterns initially then start creating our own unique creations. Fun and Cozy Lap Quilt, For those who know the basics of machine sewing this is a great class to learn how to make your own quilt without getting overwhelmed with the project. Open Studio Sunday

On selected Sundays we offer all our open studio projects (pottery, clay, stuffed animals, mosaics, jewelry making & wood projects) as well as two classes. Price for open studio is the project plus a $5 sitting fee per participant. Classes priced as marked.

‘Oaxacan Style’ Pottery Painting The rich folk art tradition of the Oaxaca State in Mexico is translated into beautiful works of art in pottery. By using a small piece of bisque ware and pottery paint you too can easily transform the ordinary into exuberant, fanciful and brilliant. A great class for those who don’t ‘feel ‘creative. Hand made by you- Prayer Bowl-the beauty and simplicity of these bowls is self-evident. Regardless of your religion these painted bowls will hold all your prayer requests. Bring in your favorite verse, scripture or saying and with a simple template you will paint your background and add your words. We do the rest by glazing and firing your piece.

Paint-a Thon We had such a great time at the Make, bake and Take, that we at Wonderworks are going to do it again! We will have a Valentine’s and a Passover/Easter edition. Of course for Valentine’s Day we will have a variety of heart boxes, handprint plates and heart mugs and shaped plates. For the Passover/Easter edition we have Seder plates and bowls, cross and bunny boxes, eggs, plates that handprints will transform and of course our wide selection of pottery. If you pre-register we will waive the sitting fee for that day.
